Camera Repair Information

Our repair facilities contain up to date testing equipment and experienced technicians. We have been repairing cameras and other equipment for over 30 years. We repair all types of film cameras, lenses, projectors and other equipment.  We also repair Digital Cameras, Camcorders, and VCR's.

A full camera repair includes the repair of the current problem plus a complete check of all the camera functions. The camera is cleaned and lubricated. All systems are adjusted to factory specifications. Camera Works warrants the performance of the camera for six months from the date of repair.

Repair Pricing

The repair price guide represents the maximum price that would be charged for parts and labor for a category of camera. The price will not be exceeded without your permission. We would contact you if the estimate is going to be exceeded and you would have another chance to approve the repair.

Repairs may be sent in pre-approved to the category maximum or an estimate may be requested.  Please Note: All Digital Cameras and Video Camcorders require an estimate before repair.

Pre-approved repairs are completed in less overall time because we only have to contact you on completion. If you wish an exact estimate we will phone or fax you with the information. After we receive authorization from you the equipment will be scheduled for repair.

How to Send Equipment

Pack equipment with adequate padding. Provide return shipping information including a contact phone or fax. Describe the camera's problem in as much detail as possible. Please indicate if you wish to pre-approve the repair to the category maximum.
